Yas is independent of political consultants and pressures (and doesn’t believe in pressuring people to get votes). She believes candidates should run on their own merit, and that people get to vote freely in a democracy.
8. For 10 years she’s rolled up her sleeves as a parent volunteer in our school district. From the day her two kids toddled into Sausalito Nursery School to them now standing tall as WCA middle schoolers (both excited to be part of the first graduating class of our unified school!) As a trustee, she will have the pulse of parents to represent their voices on issues. And build a much-needed bridge to local high schools.

Vote for the candidate that said “Yes!” to unification over a year ago and every day since. The candidate that worked to build trust not sow distrust. Yasmine’s actions show these students come first. To her it’s not about ego, power, or control. It’s about turning the power back to our students and educators.
2. Builds bridges, not walls. In 2014, she led the cross-school effort that brought Conscious Kitchen to all WCA students. How? By building trust and collaboration with Bayside MLK’s chefs and teachers who pioneered the program. As a trustee, she commits to helping local 94956 chefs, coaches, and artisans build Food, Sport, and Art bridges. Throughout history, these natural unifiers bring diverse communities together. And will help us built trust, understanding, and friendships as one inclusive community.
